About e-Portfolios

e-Portfolios provide spaces where students and teachers can gather and catalogue artifacts representing various stages of their educational or professional experience, from rough drafts to final products. Later, through a reflective and analytical process these artifacts can be arranged in views set for specific audiences (courses, prospective employees, professional organizations, etc.) that may assess one or various aspects of the author’s work.

e-Portfolios at Pratt run on the Mahara platform and are supported by the Office of Educational Technology and the Technology Advisory subcommittee on Teaching and Learning.
